Join ANSA
ANSA brings together health professionals and researchers working with neurofeedback, biofeedback and neuromodulation across Australia and New Zealand. Membership runs from 1 July to 30 June and renews each year.
Who can join
Membership classes and fees
Choose the class that fits your qualifications and how you work in the field. Fees are in Australian dollars for the membership year, 1 July to 30 June.
Full membership
$300 a year (AUD)
For practitioners and researchers working in applied neuroscience or a related field.
- Engaged in research or practice in applied neuroscience or a related field
- An advanced university or professional degree, or certification such as BCIA or IQCB
- Current registration with your profession's registration body, where one exists
- The Executive may accept equivalent advanced experience or accreditation
Voting rights at general meetings
Associate membership
$150 a year (AUD)
For people interested in the field who do not yet meet the requirements for full membership.
- An interest in applied psychophysiology, biofeedback, neurotherapy or a related field
- Includes tertiary students (with a current student ID), concession card holders and retired professionals
No voting rights
Corporate membership
$1,000 a year (AUD)
For organisations that support the Society's aims.
- Advertorial space on the ANSA website
- Up to three representatives at ANSA events at member rates
- A conference display booth at a special rate
No voting rights
Discounted membership $50 a year
For health care or concession card holders who need financial relief because of special circumstances, such as unemployment. The ANSA Executive considers each application and may ask for supporting documents. Discounted members do not have voting rights.
By recognition
These classes are awarded rather than applied for.
Fellow
Awarded by the ANSA Executive to members who have made a significant contribution to the Society, and confirmed at an Annual General Meeting.
Honorary
Awarded by the ANSA Executive for a significant contribution to the field, and confirmed at an Annual General Meeting. Honorary members pay no annual fee and have no voting rights.
All members agree to abide by ANSA's Code of Ethics.

Apply online
Complete the application form and choose your membership class. Have your qualification and professional registration details ready.

Pay your fee
Pay by credit card through PayPal, or by bank transfer. If you pay by transfer, email the secretary your transaction reference, date and amount.

Welcome to ANSA
Once your application and payment are processed, you will receive an email confirming your membership and can sign in to the member area.
